Speech and Language
All Ages
Communication is a basic right. Whether learning to talk for the first time or regaining skills after a setback, we use whatever modalities work best for you/your loved one’s communication…because everyone deserves a voice.
Misunderstood?
Speech (or articulation) is the way we put sounds together to form words. Diagnoses include developmental articulation delay, phonological processes, apraxia of speech, and dysarthria.
Let’s be clear…
Articulation therapy is aimed at improving intelligibility of speech so that others can understand, at home, work, school, or wherever you go!
Say What?
Language is the content of what we say (expression) or understand (comprehension). We develop language skills over time with practice and experience. Diagnoses include receptive/expressive language delay or disorder, aphasia, or word-finding difficulties.
You have something to say!
We give words to concepts, wants, needs, thoughts, and feelings. When we share understanding, we connect with one another and with the world!
